Föreslagna åtgärder:
-research and educate about Swedish consumption and CO2 emissions.
-bring into the general knowledge that the poor would be far better off without the wealthy, when it comes to CO2.
- I = P x A x T,
Impact on the environment is due to the product of 3 factors: Population, Affluence, and Technology.

Sammanfattning:
IPAT is an equation that expresses the idea that environmental impact (I) is the product of three factors: population (P), affluence (A) and technology (T). P = population and refers to the total number of people. While Population is not unimportant, consumption for the richest 10% is having a far greater impact.

Motiv och bakgrund:
Many discussions with people who are intereseted in Climate Destruction often land up in debates about population and inferences that population in Africa and help with vaccines are creating too many people. With the Oxfam picture about consumption it is fairly clear that population in the wealthy countries is definitely the problem. If we got rid of the 30% wealthiest the Carbon emissions would be 21% and would be manageable.

The Climate destruction is more about reasonable equality of reasources and not population. Longer term the educating girls and family planning options from Drawdown are also necessary, but not for the immediate CO2 emissions today.
